My gosh. This is so amazing. I can't even describe it! The smoothness of her lips and skin, the mystery behind her eye, the way her eye sparkles with something that looks a lot like despair and sorrow...
And the way that the simplicity of it all just pulls it all together.
The one thing I hate about this piece is the fact that it's without 1. a DD, and 2. a spot on the front page! Your talent needs more recognition! 5 faves? My goodness.

The drifting feeling you describe was kind of how I felt at the time of painting this so I'm glad that it shows.
